Automated Mobile Police Alert
Sensor System for Drunk Drivers
Erallo developed a mobile alcohol sensor and
wireless network system to auto-measure the alcohol level of repeat
DUI drivers when behind a car wheel. The RF-enabled alcohol sensor
nodes (Giner), located in the vehicle, wirelessly transmitted
the captured alcohol data to a mini-base station located in the
vehicles trunk. When the vehicle neared a police check point,
the base unit then automatically transmitted the alcohol sensor
data via WiFi to the PDA at a police check point.
GPS-Based Tracking System
for Trauma Patients
A prototype GPS enabled RFID tag/patient sensor
system was developed for tracking trauma patients using body wearable
sensors and RFID-GPS tag (10Blade) to identify and continuously
track the location and ETA of trauma patients. The system reported
the patient ID and timing in real-time to the field hospital.
A Multi-Frequency Transmitter (MFT) was also developed to enable
the system to operate with various modes of connectivity - based
on the availability of services
